The 33rd Annual Tri-State Young Writers' Triathlon invites you to watch and marvel as a bright crop of eighth-grade creative writers compete against each other for the coveted prize of publication!

Among these writers are Nathan Miller, an excitable novelist-in-training with dreams of fame, Sasha Sandberg, a disciplined essayist in search of glory, and Sakura Harmon, a timid, formalist poet hoping to prove herself worthy. Their mentor, eighth-grade English teacher Mr. Hawthorne, hopes to impart lessons from a life of literary aspiration--and their many, passionate rivals hope to take each of them down.

A musical for the self-important, creatively vibrant middle schooler in all of us, PUBLISHED! blends the high-octane world of Shonen anime and manga with the often muted and lonely world of being a writer to tell a story about finding one's voice, following one's passions and learning the hard lessons of pursuing the career of an artist.
